I'm using IE5, and I remember that with IE4 some months ago there was a red folder for threads with new posts. Now all I can see is just different color for those links I followed, so I often keep visiting the same threads over and over again, but I never have an idea if there's any new posting.
Is it me, my browser, or has something changed here ?
If possible - how do I resolve this problem ?

I strongly recommend the use of encryption software for e-Mail contacts. Ensuring privacy makes people feel better :o)

I'm using IE5 and I still see 'red' for new postings in folders and 'yellow' for old...
Should rule out IE5 being the primary cause, but doesn't solve your problem...

The funny thing is, in the Combatsim.Com forum which seems to use the same BBS software, I DO see the red folders...!

I think you need to reset your cookie. Go to your user Profile and save it again. I am pretty sure this resets your coookie (you might have to make some change?).

Steve,
I did reset my cookie (one of the two that are allowed on my HD), but still no red folders... This sucks !
Any ideas ?

Heh heh heh...
Due to a major system renewal I backed up a lot of files (including the cookie) on CD-ROM. After restoring it, I didn't remove the read-only attribute.
Now everything's fine - hope I didn't cause too many headaches; you may close this thread, if you like.
Thanks, anyway !
