View Full Version : Foxholes
From the screenshots it seems that foxholes are represented by a ground texture rather than a "real" hole in the ground. No big problem with that, except - will foxholes be visible all the time in the overhead view or will they also have to be spotted first?

Yup, the foxholes are textures. The number of ploygons that would be needed to make little holes was just too much (way too much in fact).
You can see the foxholes from any camera angle, but not if you haven't spotted them first. No more of that "ah, I see his trenches from 4k meters away, now I know where he is" crap http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/smile.gif
