How many types of soldiers are there? Meaning, is the system complicated enough to tell the difference between crack troops and commandos? I have read that there are seperate scales for morale and discipline. How large are these scales, 1-10? Could you guys give examples of what kind of troops have what kind of numbers?

There are six different troop quality ratings:

Conscript
Green
Regular
Veteran
Elite
Crack

The differences between each are extremely complex code wise, but intuitive from the gamer's perspective. The factors and how they relate to quality will be outlined in the manual, but basically it comes down to simple intuition. Conscripts suck in all ways while Crack troops make you wonder if they ate more than their Wheaties for breakfast http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/smile.gif
