There are 7 maps I can't access in TACOPS. These are 211c, 213c, 231c, 321c, 323c, 911c - the screen just fills up with rubbish when the program completes the load of the map. Map 902c causes the game to crash, is this a common occurence in Tacops, n.b. the rest of the maps are fine. Great game especially the feeling when you're a minute from completing the objectives and the OPFOR completes there's how frustrating!!!! - Scenario Team Savage

Several people have reported trouble with Map 911 - the biggest TacOps map. One person has a consistent problem with Map 902 that no one else has.
The extra maps that you listed require a lot of memory and a lot of system resources. If you are running at Ture Color, try switching to High Color before running TacOps. If you are running at High Color, try switching to 256 colors before running TacOps.
If they still give you trouble then try reducing your monitor resolution down one step - for example if you are at 1280 by 1024 pixels then go down to 1024 by 768, etc.
The idea of all of these changes is to reduce the amount of memory and system resource required to load the map on your system.
Please let me know what happens after trying the above.
For everyone else - if you are not currently having a problem with TacOps graphics then you don't need to try any of these things. If it works OK for you then leave things alone http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/smile.gif.

I had the same problem with a couple of the maps you listed. I turned my settings down to 256 color and they work fine. Good luck http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/wink.gif

I've got a different map problem. While trying to set up a PBM game as OPFOR, using the Task Force Moody #1 scenario, I cannot seem to click close enough to the eastern edge of the map when choosing the entry point of my units. The program wants me to click farther east when I'm at the very edge already. Since nothing else can be done until this entry point is chosen I cannot set up the game. Has anyone else experienced this?
Found the answer. Make sure the scroll bars are on before you load the scenario. The space bar scroll is not available while placing entry points of units. You have no way to scroll to the far eastern edge if you don't start with the scroll bars on.

Check out using the arrow keys for scrolling. They are always available.
A lot (maybe most) people use the arrow keys instead of the scrollbar.

I forgot all about the arrow keys!! I'm a clicker myself, due mostly to the fact I'm usually too lazy to learn the shortcuts unless I really have to click a whole lot.
Thanks Major!
