Let's hear it for CMBO!

Well, it's been a crazy 2003 so far. Exercise more resolution going pretty well. Drink less... well, at least I'm exercising. :)

I've been astounded lately because every time I'm up for some CM action, I've fired up CMBO. I have no doubt that CMBB is a better game (and I'll go one better [for an Ami] and say we by ourselves didn't save the world), but I just prefer the western front and the originator of the series.

Am I on crack?

No, I don't think you're on crack. CMBO is probably a more enjoyable game for a non grog because it plays more like a game. CMBB is more realistic and therefore more of a simulation rather than a game, which can be tiresome to some because of the extra work you have to put into it to play CMBB well.
