Scenarios suitable for PBEM

I am new to the game and I am wondering; Are the scenario's that come with game balanced enough for PBEM? Or should I go to the scenario depot for balanced scenario's

Try Petrarcholi Ridge, its a small balanced scenario specifically designed for new PBEM players.

spwaw scen makers started naming their scens "h2h" "2player" "pbem" etc because of the confusion. if you look at battles in the scenario depot at least they recommend best played as and 2nd best. you could rename them after, as pbem-whatevername.
