Sorry about the OT but I thought this would be of interest to at least a few people who remained on the sinking boat to the last.

Go to the link above for the new drivers and click the drivers link. The site reports that it is closed but the driver area seems to be functioning. Apparently, these are ex 3dfx employees who banded together for one more driver release.

I'm glad I caught the Nvidia rescue ship but these new drivers should help the remaining 3dfx owners sleep a bit better.

Those new drivers screwed up my cmbo game. Apparently they break the anti-aliasing... I could only get a small part of the area in front of the camera AA'ed, and only when the camera was in motion. The rest of the screen remained un-AA'ed and looked really crappy. I'm sticking with the previous dx8 drivers till I get a new card in about 6 months or so.

Ouch! That's an odd AA effect, Tiger. I didnt bother to test the new drivers on my Voodoo 3 machine...just thought someone may benefit from the heads up on new release.

I run a Geforce 2 Ultra on my main machine now. I very much recommend this card as I have had NO problems with it. Specs: PIII 800; 128Meg RAM; 64Meg on the card...CM is extremely smooth at 1600x1200 with high res grass/terrain/buildings and most of your vehicle mods http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/smile.gif

First and last bump for the 3dfx owners who missed this the first time around.
