View Full Version : Sampling of proposed Rating System for the new TSD
As posted HERE (http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=003342;p=1#0000 09), I have put together a test page showing how the Bayesian rating system will work:

(please be gentle, some error checking is there but you l33t haxors could probably break it)
Comments/suggestions welcomed!

Yeah, it says "must be between 1-30", but then tells you off if you say "1" smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

In mathematical parlance, yes. From 1 to 10 would be different. And common parlance has different practises.

Fair enough. I loose the semantic battle. I had to try. But suck on this one: it accepts "10" tongue.gif
(Of course, the whole thing is academic, because, it doesn't say "between 1 and 10", those were my words. It says "(1-10)" smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
;)
