can't extract patch

Love the game but I need help.
When I extract the patch, 40% through extracting the SC.exe file the following message pops up:
"can't create output file: c:\Strategic Command\SC.exe"
Any ideas? I'm about to take a trip so I may not get back to you soon.

Not sure, maybe it's been corrupted, perhaps a redownload will do the trick
