1.04 WON'T WORK, HELP ME!!!

I have original version of SCom and it works as 1.0 but when I install the 1.04 it won't start anymore! Where is the problem?

Hi Pepe,

Could you be a little more specific? Do you receive a visible error message? Does it not start at all, or does it allow you to get into the game but not load etc.?

If you can check in your installation folder, there may have been a generated 'exception_trace.log' file created. If so please send it to me at support@furysoftware.com

Also if you can tell me what OS you are running as well as all your system specs this can be very helpful.

I installed the 1.04 patch, and it did not work for me either, i now just install the 1.0 game and play that.

There was a small problem found on some systems that can be worked around by setting the line 'directx = 1' back to 'directx = 0' in your 'SC.ini' file. The SC.ini file can be found in your installation directory. I should have posted the temporary fix here sooner (sorry about that), but I would recommend the v1.04 patch as it does have a lot of improvements over v1.0, most notably the AI.
