Map Scrolling problem

I appear to have developed a problem with moving around the game map. Now when I move my mouse on the main game screen I am "locked" into that area of the map. The only way I can move around the map now is to use the small box map and move around in the mini theatre map. Anyone know how to fix this? This is rather annoying and just happened when a friend sent me a pbem game that was corrupted. I uninstalled and reinstalled SC with no success. I would appreciate any suggestions!

That's a strange one, not sure if this would help, but maybe a reboot will do the trick?

Just another shot in the dark here, did you try reapplying the latest patch, it will overwrite the SC executable and I am guessing it should be fine after that.

Also does it happen everytime you try playing SC, what I mean by that is what if you try starting a new game against the AI, or Hotseat etc.

Ok, I reinstalled, repatched and rebooted and things are much better. For everyone's info, it appears the PBEM file I recieved was corrupted by the ISP (aol) of my opponent. When I loaded that in my PBEM folder and started up SC, things went bonkers. Anyone have any problems with others??
