Exactly what he said above. There's always something you didn't know.

Few very people actually set up a quick hotseat to test for things they claim. No wonder it gets nowhere.

Tigrii,
Gee, you & I meet again. ;)
Because of their subject content, a large percentage of the general forum messages would probably be better placed in the Trick & Tips forum.

you could liven things up here by entitling it tips and tricks (newbies welcome)
and establish a rule that at least in this one forum the people posting in it would not flame broil each other when questions are asked
i've been on sites sponsoring other games that are a good deal less detailed than this one that sported one forum where new players to the game could ask questions (any questions) w/o fear of being attacked by anyone
this encourages adoption of the game - something you'd think both BFC and forum members here would be in favor of
of course it helps to have an active moderator that is knowledgable keeping things running the way you want them to - and stickies at the top with FAQ's for reference
hardly strikes me as much of a stretch or even a terribly novel idea, since like i said, it's done just about everywhere else any other gaming company runs a forum like this one

Ironically, the busiest thread on this forum is about it being DEAD!

hehe, yeah
the logic of forums work in perverse ways don't they ;)
I see 10 new posts on here today (3 days before xmas) and hereby declare you a not very amusing troll.
Happy Holidays!

Tigrii, why don't you start contributing something for a change?
Many a thread here could have used somebody posting actual results of hotseated tests. E.g. the scouting with sharpshooters or tank hunters thread.

fate,
thx for self-identifying as someone i'll completely ignore in the future
Hmmm? EZ, that was not posted at you, it was posted at Tigril's 1st post. My own defintion of a troll is a post with no useful information in it designed to sow the seeds of dissension and argument.
So I take it back, it was a successful troll after all.

fair enough fate,
thought the shot was aimed at me and had me perplexed/annoyed i'll admit
and you're right, the trolling was successful
but only momentarily
i've posted most of my questions about tips and tricks in the cmbo forum because i realize most everyone here has moved on to cmbb and so most of the discussion here is about cmbb - even if the forum title says it's for both
in the interest of keeping this place alive in spite of the occasional troll i'll post some tips and tricks questions as they come up in here instead and see if i get responses in spite of the fact that it's cmbo (i bought the bundle and decided that the best way to approach playing the game was to start where it began before moving on to cmbb)

It's interesting because there was a thread in the general forum about creating a separate mod forum - which would severely cut down on the posts in the general forum. But I agree with PiggDogg that quite a few of threads on the general forum should really be posted here.

My contribution is in 'Air Attack Test Results'. There should be a number of tips to be found in there.

I disagree with the topic of the thread. Because you are reading it, you know I am right.
