Masterful marketing scheme.

You do realize that the mod and scenario CDs are used as a bonus to attract new buyers - or second time buyers - after the initial frenzy of a new release, yes?

Why give the goodies away for free from the getgo? Don't make much business sense to me.

I wasn't thinking of 'for free'. I would pay extra for a CMAK and CMMOS bundle. Especially if it had CMAK extras.

To do the CMAK mods, the modders need CMAK, but they haven't got it because Battlefront is waiting for the modders to complete thier 'hundreds of mods' for the second CD.

Hmmm.. there seem to be posts indicating that someone is making mods for CMAK. Maybe it is Battlefront.

However the CMMOS would still be a selling point I think as it doesnt seem to be a download anywhere.
