how where do get / learn about making mods for combat mission, ive been playing it for well nearly a year and i want to try something not graphics or sound but gameplay

you mean scenarios and suchlike? try the scenario depot (http://ns9.super-hosts.com/~dragonlair.net/combatmission/) . smile.gif

or try Combat Mission HQ (http://www.combatmission.com/) - there's a lot of mod related stuff there too.
Or you could just wait for junk2drive to notice this thread! :D
A week ago I had never used a mod either, but junk has been most helpful in setting me off down the road to modsluttery.

the mods cannot affect gameplay, they are for the look & feel rather than the nuts & bolts.

guess you'll just have to wait for CMx2 liek the rest of us.

Last night I watched Operation Burma with Errol Flynn. My TV is colour, but the movie was black and white. Whats up with that?

(yeah I'm kidding)

Then the wife and I watched "We were Soldiers", and I got in a couple of small battles in Korea and Vietnam before I collapsed.

no no i live in the uk it was during the day so daytime tv is just repeats and i think it was telewest cable which i even worse. he he shame about them not changing gameplay cuz i noticed mistakes with the cromwell and churchill cuz they had 6 pounder convesions to the 75mm so they had longer barrels so they were more poerful, plus a few marks of the cromwell they had on there never saw combat

plus the cromwell was uks most numerous tank from 6 june 44 we realy only had alot of shermans in italy we actualy had more fireflys by may 45 than 75 mm shermans and more cromwells than both together from d-day
