Muddy Waters

No not that guy, has anyone had success making a water mod for muddy rivers or rice paddies?
Everything I try looks like a pan of fudge or a dirty diaper.

Well, I'm no programmer/modder, but is it that you are trying to use only one color for the water?

Are you able to overlay a "transparent" lighter color on top of a "base" color to give it depth?

Sorry, my only XP is with things like Photoshop and Paint, etc., but I thought I'd throw that out there for consideration.

Hi Lucho, you still visit here. The Illu battle I have saved at turn 9. Too bad we cannot have different bmps for ocean and rivers.

I got it before it listed the bmp numbers, you must have just finished. Then I installed it with McMMM and checked out a few battles.
You have a great eye for color. It goes well with the roads and buildings, and mods like Gurra's open ground and OSF rocks.
