Transfering CMBB/BO to the BF Folder

Was just wondering if it would be safe to just simply click and drag the CMBB/BO folder over to the Battlefront folder? For a nice and neat "all my CM's in 1 folder" thing. Im assuming it would work all fine and dandy. But i wanted to post first just to make sure. Has anybody done this yet? Any problems with it?

I believe it should work, but I haven't done it myself yet. None of the CM programs make any registry entries that would prevent moving them to another directory (as long as the 'structure' is maintained).

The exceptions to this are the 'uninstallers'. Moving the programs to different directories will probably prevent the uninstallers (CMBO, CMAK & CDV versions) from actually removing all the files. Beyond that the titles should all work in a different directory.

Only CMAK has an uninstaller built in so thats not a problem.

You can move those other games at will. Just be sure and modify or create new shortcuts which point to the updated location.

Ok, thanks for the info fellas. I just did this and CMBO/BB work fine. No problems at all and i surprisingly didn't have to change the shortcuts. smile.gif
