Info On Troop Types?

I've seen links to sites than have info on the Armored Units, but what about Infantry?

My knowledge on German & Soviet Troops is, um, well, limited

I couldn't tell you the differences between a Jager platoon and a Fusilier

Any websties that can help me out?

For game specific info...start a QB with at least 5X, select unrestricted, human choose for both, go in and buy up the various platoons, companies etc.
This way you get see the wisdom in buying bulk, the different group strengths, weapons w/firepower and ranges, its all right there. ;)
