i was wondering if anyone knew the military rankings of WWII and if that data would be incorperated into the way SC2 would be played ie: if britan was ranked say 8th in land troops then they would only be allowed a certain # of armies and corps.

That should be optional.

What if you decide to go the other way and instead of the Bomber / Air strat, you go tank crazy, changing history.

Ah hell, every setting should be optional ! =)

That should be optional. Indeed it shall be. There are 3 force pool limit settings. Hard limits would be strictly enforced, meaning if you have a limit of 4 AFs then that's the most you could possibly have, period. Soft limits would allow you to purchase units beyond the limit at additional cost, say +25% or some other editable number. And no limits would allow you to purchase whatever you want. And of course all force pool limits may be edited. Players can then assign military rankings or whatever in any manner they desire.

i also think that for every country that you conquer your limit should be extended judging by size, number of cities, and ports. this would make it so people coulden't just sit on a country's border building up.
