Movie Glitch in CM final

Loaded the game and installed the patch and approximately every 8-15 seconds the movie will lock for a second during play back. If I'm scrolling at the time the screen will also lock and then run normally until the next episode. Any ideas?

Also, everytime I load the game I will get the Video Resolution choice and have
to click on my choice of res. In the demo we only had to do this the first time. Is this normal?

System: 550mhz, 128 RAM; Matrox G400; 700plus meg swap file; Win 98. The demos ran smooth as silk as do the other sims I have.

Any input on the above? Thanks.

Also, I did the full install on my initial install and notice it is still going to the CD when it pauses.

Should I reinstall?

Hmmm. Yes try a reinstall. It should only have to seek to the CD-ROM when you do a small or medium install, not the full install.

Also, try removing the CD after installing and starting up. See if it changes anything.

Working fine now. I removed and reinstalled.
Possible that I installed medium inadvertently the first time although I was certain I did the full.
