After two days of nagging to Saitek and fighting this game instead of the Croats, I solved the problem myself. I can't believe no-one thought of this:

</font> Disable joystick support from T-72 with the configuration tool (Battlefront --&gt; T-72 --&gt; Configuration --&gt; Realism --&gt; Joystick Off --&gt; YES)</font> Open Saitek Profile Editor and assign Y-axis --&gt; Bands</font> Split the band in three 0 - 48%, 49-51% and 52 -100%.</font> Assign Arrow UP button to the lowest band and Arrow DOWN button to the highest band. Leave the 4% middle section as a dead zone.</font> Do the same to X-axis and left/right arrow buttons so you can traverse the turret and steer the tank.</font>
