How to patch

Sorry for my stupidity, but how do I apply the patch? It's a *.bin file which has no file association assigned to it.

Well, are you using a Mac? or a PC?

Well, no matter what platform you have, you've downloaded the Mac patch. Maybe that's the problem.

I use a PC and the patch is an .exe file and all it says to do is to replace the patch .exe file with the original .exe file. Then you transfer the new BMP files into the game to get the firey explosions.
