Printer Friendly Manual?

Is there a way to make the manual print without the green background?
Im not too "printer oriented"

I agree that this *is* a monumental waste of toner - white on black background on my monochrome laserjet...

Any chance of a 'reversed colour' version, please?
Or some other workaround?

The best workround I have for now is 'save as text' with acrobat reader 8. (Not sure if its supported with earlier versions)This will let you print a plain tabbed text file with no background. Still a lot of pages but saves ink/toner.

Sorry, I should have said you need to import that plain text file you just saved, into word or wordpad or similar & print from there.

Wasn't supported with AR 7.1, but an upgrade to AR 8.1 works as you described. Thanks!

Seems a shame 'they' can't post a black-on-white version with no background.

Is it too much to ask for a pointer on the downloads page to a 'printer-friendly' version of the manual?
