Javelins Going Through Buildings???

I just decided to play through the training campaign and decided to try some Javelins against one of the objective buildings in the final battle.
The result out of 3 Javelins fired was 3 Javelins passing directly through the building to blow a crater in the ground on the other side of the building????

I saw that too, I decided it was either a bug (the collision detection is sometimes off) or the javelin has the ability to penetrate the building without detonating?
