Waypoints dont go where i click

Hovering the Mousecoursor over a Place on a Map and Click and the waypoint always goes of about 1cm wher e i clicked. Happening almost always. Its anoying. Anyone knows how to fix it?

I think this is because the map actually has an invisible grid of 8 metre wide squares and the centre of the unit has to be positioned on one of the squares of the grid. This is so the game engine can handle Line of Sight between units.

I'm sure BFC will correct me if I'm wrong.

This cant be. When i start the Game it works fine but after 20Minutes of Playing in the First Campaign Game the Error mentioned above occurs

Taki, does it make it impossible to select certain units as well? Have you tried placing move orders with the map looking from above?

The other possibility is the ATI left mouse click setting. If you have that turned on, it could cause the problem (in v1.02).

I have seen something similar, where after a scenario was running a while, it became almost impossible to select a unit or place a waypoint.

Try turning off this setting if it is on.

Edit: CommC, suggesting that people turn off the ATI fix, is not helpful, simply because the fix is not selected for non-ATI card machines, and is selected for ATI machines for the simple reason that otherwise the game crashes.

Still got the Problems with the Waypoints and Pathfinding with 1.03 but the Game is getting better and better.
