I want to make some briefings, can someone tell me where the template for them is if there is one. Also where do I write it, in Word or notepad or soemthing? and do I save it into the game folder or somewhere else? sorry for the noob questions, but I cant figure t out.

Would also like to know as I'm getting close to scenario completion.

Can someone break it down nice and slow?

Best way is to export an existing briefing (to any folder) so that you have the correct format in the text file.
Edit it using notepad and import it (from the folder you used).
I just made a new folder in the game directory called "Scenario Editor Stuff".

Not that hard.

thats correct
there 1 txt and 3 image files you need to make
the sizes are displayed in the various sections of the editor
1st is the global image ie,the syrian world map
2nd is the operational image,i just take a screenshot of the 3d map in some form ,resize it,save as .bmp then import it
3rd is the tactical map,ie the battle plan.i screen shot the editor view of the map.edit it in PS to add the arrows and targets and watnot.
resize,save as .bmp then import

there is a 4th or if you prefer the initial screen as well, the little image displayed as you view the battle listed in the scenario/campaign menu.
