esc key inop in CMAK

I tried a search but...

so anyways, how do I activate the esc key so that it lets me get back to the desktop, rather than alt+tab?

As you can tell the ESC key for switching out of CMAK is disabled by default. To re-enable it you need to press Alt-Shift-; (that's a semicolon at the end). This should re-enable the ESC key for switching to the desktop. This should remain in effect until you delete your Prefs file.
