If we have a pbem game going under the gold demo, is there any restriction on using the final game release (when we get it) to then continue play. Thus allowing us to delete the gold demo. I understand that both sides have to have the new patch, but other than that is there any problem?

Ok, I'd like to take this question one step further. I have an unfinished Beta Demo game that both my opponent and I want to finish, but he lost the beta demo. Is it possible to use the Beta PBEM files with the final version?

You will be able to use v1.0 of the final game to finish off a gold demo scenario, but the v1.01 patch will not allow this.

You can't use the final CM to play anything from the beta demo. Sorry about that.
