Froze

Last night fired it up and it froze on the main page. Had to unplug the computer. Fired it up and it froze on that little initial window. I'm going to try and uninstall/reinstall. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to help get a bug report to you?

You can submit bugs using the "report a bug" item on the main menu. It doesn't have allow you to attach files, but if you need to attach a file, just report and bug and I'll send an email back to you. (I'd post the email address on the forums, but spam-bots would pick it up.)

Brit, I can't report the bug in the game because it freezes as soon open it. So I guess this thread is it. I don't believe there's a file I could send you. The freeze occurs before I can open the save.

I had freezes once and a while, but I could use
Ctrl-Alt-Delete ... Task Manager ... Activate Empires of Steel
to get the game running again.

The freezing can be triggered by clicking on something with a pop-up window active while some processing is going on.

Have you managed to ever get past the main-menu? Or did it work for a few days and now it always freezes on you?

It worked for a few days. Then I started the game and it froze on the main menu. The next morning I started the game and it froze on the initial small window. I've already uninstalled and will reinstall tomorrow. Then we'll see how it goes.
