Download it now! This new v1.1 public beta contains many bug fixes but the most important one is that TCP/IP games now function properly on Windows 2000. See enclosed documentation for more details. Enjoy!

Windows version
Macintosh version

When you launch the game it should report the version number as PUBLIC BETA Version v1.1b22

Full documentation is enclosed in the Read Me folder.

Great news! This one caught me totally by surprise...I wasn't even expecting another beta patch so soon. You didn't even give me a chance to post the usual "so when can we expect the next patch" post.

Has anyone noticed any bmps changed or am I loosing track of all the mods? I see roofs that have real good looking shingles. Buildings are very crisp and so are the trees. Must be a mod I downloaded.

Maybe I'm just missing it, but among the readmes from various cm versions, I don't see one mentioning what got fixed between the old 1.1 and the new 1.1. Would you please enlighten me?

Thanks,

-John

John,

It's there -- check the How to Guide about halfway down, note that it says that changes since the last beta are listed in italics.

After downloading the new beta my game still refers to version 1.1b16. Is this correct?

Greg, no, I think you must have unzipped the file to the wrong location. CM should be indicating version 22.

John, the new changes should be written in italics within the readme...

Do you have to do anything to your existing PBEMs or other saved games?

Interesting that the MxA1 halftracks can once again carry full squads, and a little confusing. What may I ask changed your minds? ,
