v1.21a Marines campaign hotfix PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 04 January 2010

We have just released a v1.21a Hotfix for CMSF Marines with a slightly modified version of the original Combat Mission: Shock Force Marines campaign "Semper Fi, Syria!". The modifications fix known problems with scoring in the scenario "Afternoon Delight" in particular, but do not offer new functionality to the campaign itself. The Hotfix is distributed via the Battlefront Repository.

NOTE: You only need this Hotfix if you have downloaded the v1.21 patch before January 4, 2010. The v1.21a full patch below already includes this Hotfix.

CONTACT magazine review PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 23 May 2009

Jason Logue from the Australian military magazine "CONTACT Air, Land and Sea" has written up a comprehensive review of Combat Mission Shock Force and CMSF: Marines.

"Shock Force and the add-on Marines are a very worthy addition to the genre. It's as close as a wargame has got to simulating the environment thousands of troops are facing each day. A must-buy for wargamers."
