CM Barbarossa to Berlin VISTA

This is a special 2009 upgrade of CMBB, improving compatibility with Windows Vista. Please note also that this is NOT a full game! This Upgrade contains just the updated executable file. Ownership of a full version of Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin is required!

Note: you only need this upgrade if you have purchased CMBB somewhere else than directly from Battlefront.com, or if you have purchased from Battlefront.com directly but before July 17th, 2009, and if you are experiencing problems running the game under Windows Vista. In all other cases, you DO NOT NEED this upgrade.

Installation Instructions:

The upgrade consists of a ZIP archive containing four files:

1) the updated CMBB executable file
2) the elicen40.dll library file
3) the msvcr71.dll library file
4) this ReadMe

Please first make a backup copy of your current "Barbarossa to Berlin.exe" file inside your CMBB directory. You can do this simply by renaming the file, or you can cut & paste it into a different place.

After downloading the Vista Upgrade ZIP archive, extract it by copying all files inside into your existing CMBB directory. This should place all files inside the archive into the game directory. You have chosen the right directory to extract to if the new "Barbarossa to Berlin.exe" file is now in the same location as the previous .exe file was.

Note: It may be a good idea to save the ZIP archive in a secure location in case you need it to reinstall in the future. Downloads from Battlefront are limited to 365 days and expire automatically, so you need a backup copy because you will not be able to re-download forever!
