This
patch is for the version of CMBB purchased from Battlefront.com ONLY (US
version). It will not work with the
CDV (European) version. The newly released Special
Edition version does NOT need any patches applied.
If
you have bought CM2 (European name for CMBB, distributor:
CDV) at CompUSA or any other US retail location, please note
that this is the European/UK version of the game, and as
such is not supported by Battlefront.com directly. Please
direct any support/service inquiries to CDV Software Entertainment
AG in Germany.

For the version 1.02 patch, use ONLY the multilingual
patch!!! The CDV specific language versions for the 1.02
patch do not appear to update properly but the multilingual
patch works properly!
We strongly suggest
you review the patch ReadMe before you
apply the patch.

VERSION
COMPATIBILITY NOTE
Games saved in v1.02 can't be loaded in by older versions. If you are
playing others by email or TCP/IP, make sure you all upgrade to v1.02.
Transferring PBEM files from Version 1.0 or Version
1.01 to Version 1.02:
- In
CMBB version 1.0 or 1.01, load the PBEM file. In an orders
phase, save the pbem file as a saved game by clicking on
the little SAVE button on the command bar at the bottom
of the screen.
- Repeat
Step 1 for all pbem files you wish to convert.
- Install
the 1.02 patch (make sure you have already installed the
1.01 patch)
- Open
CMBB Version 1.02
- Open
the saved game file from step 1.
- Choose
Email as the startup option for the saved game.
- Place
your orders as you normally would in a PBEM, and press "GO"
- Congratulations!
You have now converted your pbem file.
- Repeat
as necessary for any other files you need to convert.
