Combat Mission Campaigns is an operational
wargame where you command forces up to a Division in size during the
bloody nightmare of WWII's Eastern Front from 1941-45.

By working in tandem with the award winning Combat
Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin game engine, Combat Mission
Campaigns allow you to command your troops at the operational
level and then play out the resulting battles at the tactical level.
CMBB and CMC actually share information back and forth so the disposition
and status of troops, experience, fatigue, supply, terrain, weather,
time of day and more are seamlessly integrated into both games. Plan
your strategies, issue orders and deploy your maneuver units in a dynamic
3D isometric map and when units close to engagement ranges, CMC
actually creates the battles (unit positions, status, weather,
time of day etc...) to then be played in CMBB. Once
the tactical battle is finished, CMBB then sends the
results back to CMC and play is continued at the Operational
level.

German Officer details
CMC gives you the player a wealth of
tools to effectively command and fight with your troops. With a single
mouse click you can view a detailed collapsible Order of Battle (OoB)
tree for all units under your command. At a glance you can review any
units 'Readiness' statistic which combines fitness, fatigue and the
actions and battles a unit fights to determine an overall level of effectiveness.
View detailed "signals" reports indicating the type of communications
links and assets your units have, for example, runners, direct or point
to point radio contact, motorcycle and halftrack driven couriers.
Move the mouse over the various buttons to see
what they do!
Review the transport info of your units as well as their
transport type (i.e. horse-driven, motorized, bicycle, foot etc...),
load capacity and their on and off road speeds. Coordinate complex multi-unit
maneuvers by using "H-hour commands" that commence at a specified
time. Allocate artillery assets to be "in support" of specific
units (allows FO's to appear in the tactical battles). Order units to
entrench, be placed in tactical reserve, move out in combat formations
or road march (travel move), rest and more. All of this done in an intuitive
and configurable graphical user interface.

Troop Detail panel
Put simply, Combat Mission Campaigns
adds the Operational and Strategic elements that fans have always
wanted in Combat Mission at an unprecedented level of detail! Russian
and German maneuver units of platoons, companies and battalions are
at your disposal and you can even opt to be a subordinate officer with
the AI or other human players as your commander.
Combat Mission Campaigns not only provides
the ability to engage in operational level maneuvering, but provides
new context for Combat Mission battles, linking the results of tactical
engagements with the larger operations, giving incentive for commanders
to plan strategies carefully and with regard to the wide ranging consequences
of their actions.
CMC can be played single player against
one or more AI opponents (or subordinates), or multiplayer versus several
other human opponents. PBEM and Hotseat multiplay modes are supported.
An innovative "host" system exists to allow for handling of
multiple campaigns and operations simultaneously on one computer.

Main Turn Control Panel
CMC features a turn based mechanism similar
to Combat Mission, where orders are provided for the following turn
or turns, and then operational progress is resolved for all forces simultaneously.
CMC has a configurable and advanced fog-of-war
system, restricting the information available to a commander depending
on the sightings from units under his command, and the ability of those
units to pass back information and the means used to do so. This allows
for a true "relative spotting" component to be added to the
regular challenges of fog of war and accurate
situational awareness on the battlefield.

Example of a Map Editor Village Terrain Tile Options
CMC is planed to include historical campaigns
from Barbarossa, Stalingrad, Operation Mars, 3rd Kharkov, Kursk and
Berlin operations. It also ships with a complete and powerful campaign
and map editor, allowing you to create both historical and 'what if'
scenarios.

The use of the Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
is required in order for you to play out the tactical battles although
you can have CMC "auto-resolve" the engagements
if you wish.
CMC will run on Microsoft Windows systems
and a Mac version is being considered for the future.
