T-72 Balkans on Fire v1.3 Patch

 

Do not apply this patch if you purchased the Download Version of the game. That version is already updated to v1.3

List of Fixes/changes

  • Fixed random lockups/freezes that some people reported
  • Added configuration program option to reverse Joystick Y Axis for gunner and commander view
  • Added configuration program option to mute external soldier voices
  • Improved functionality of 'Dual Mode'
  • Improved text orientation in Map Mode
  • Improved playback rate of voice commands
  • Various corrections in briefing/message text

Note: Configuration options for Joystick and external soldier voices are set using the "cfg.bat" program in your T-72 Balkans on Fire! program directory.

     

 

Mission and Map Pack #2

This pack includes 15 missions allowing you to play the original campaign battles commanding a T-55A tank (instead of the T-72B), plus two new Target Practice Range missions in a T-34/85 and T-55A. All Mission files are accessed via the "User Mission" option from the main menu. These files do not overwrite any original files. These new missions are for the full game only, they do not work with the demo.

 

Installation:

Download and launch the file. When asked location to extract the files, select your T-72 Game folder. The files will install into the proper directories. This pack works only with the full version of the game, it will not work with the demo.

To Play:

To play the new missions or maps, start the game, select User Missions from the main menu page. From the list, select one of the seventeen new mission files: level01 t55.ca, level07 t55.ca, T34 Target_Prac.ca etc...

Mission and Map Pack #1

This pack includes 4 all new playable missions and 2 new Desert Maps. This pack works only with the full version of the game, it will not work with the demo.

 

Installation:

Download and launch the file. When asked location to extract the files, select your T-72 Game folder.

To Play:

To play the new missions or maps, start the game, select User Missions from the main menu page. From the list, select one of the four new mission files: Ambush.ca, Daskal01.ca, Powerplant.ca and War.ca or the two new map files: Desert01.ca and Desert02.ca.

Graphics Mods

UPDATED TANK DRIVER INTERFACE MOD

Modified T-34/85 and T-72/T-55 driver interface. This mod enhances the graphics and changes the broken glass in T55 and fixes the one in T72's in drivers view. Other 'cosmetic' graphical tweaks also added. Mod created by "Defiant".

 

Installation:

Unpack the file to the folder: DATA\Textures\INTERF in your T-72 game folder.



(You should make a copy of the file sd1interface.tga before you apply this mod).

T-72/T-55 DRIVER INTERFACE MOD

Modified T-72/T-55 driver interface. This mod removes excess graphics clutter in the outside driver views. Mod created by "Daskal".

Installation:

Unpack the file to the folder: DATA\Textures\INTERF in your T-72 game folder.
