New Gameplay Overview Video ReleasedSince the v1.3 Patch and Demo was released last week, T-72 Balkans on Fire! has been getting a lot of attention and excitement. To help demonstrate some of what game has to offer, forum regular and game fan "Daskal" has made up an incredible new all in-game movie showing off some of the great effects and features. Updated Game Demo ReleasedThe updated demo is 171 megs in size and contains three playable missions. Two training missions with the T-72B and one exciting combat mission where the player commands a T-55A tank. Additionally, the in-game 3D Encyclopedia allows you to explore all the units featured in the full game. This demo is based on the all new v1.3 version of the game and includes all the updated features and fixes from the patch.

v1.3 Patch ReleasedA new patch for T-72 Balkans on Fire! was released today. Among the features is a fix for the random lockups some people encountered as well as a new configuration program option to reverse the Joystick Axis.

T-72 Balkans on Fire has gone GOLD!
Pre-orders now accepted and new gameplay movies released...Battlefront.com and IDDK/Crazy House proudly announce that T-72 Balkans on Fire! has now officially reached “Gold” status and is ready for release. Production of the finished goods (CD's and printed manual) begins immediately, and the game is expected to ship to customers in late June/early July. Pre-orders are now being accepted. Click the Pre-Order Now! link to the left to place your pre-order.
The game is available for only $35 plus Shipping & Handling. It comes with a fully printed 70 page game manual and 2 Game CD's. The game will not be sold in stores, but – like all Battlefront titles - will only be available via mail order directly from www.battlefront.com. Products ship out of Battlefront’s US warehouse in Vermont and their European warehouse in Ireland (no additional taxes or duties to European customers).
A free playable demo will be released around the time of release in 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile, a number of exciting gameplay videos have just been released and can be downloaded from the Movies link.Battlefront.com and IDDK/Crazy House also disclosed today, that the work on a multiplayer add-on is already underway. The add-on is planned to include full online multiplayer support (the current release allows for single player and LAN only) for up to eight players as well as 20 completely new maps. At least one new playable tank is planned as well! The add-on is expected to be ready for release at the end of the year.

Set in the violent period of civil wars in Yugoslavia from 1991 to 1995, it puts the player as a Russian volunteer tank commander right into the turret of some of the best tanks the Russians ever built – the T-72B, the T-55A and the T-34-85.

Game Preview in two parts available at SimHQ.com...
SimHQ.com has recently posted a two part game preview of T-72 Balkans on Fire. At the time the article was written, Crazy House, IDDK and Battlefront.com had not yet formalized the publishing deal detailed above and the game was still being called Tank T-72: Balkans In Fire.
