Notes
|
After extensive trials of Denmark's first camouflage uniform, the T78, a slightly revised coloration and cut of the uniform was adopted as m/84. The camo pattern is printed using the same screens as German Flecktarn, but with only 3 unique colors instead of the German's 5 colors. The result is a distinctive camouflage pattern which arguably is more effective than the original. The uniform is exceptionally well made and has many interesting features on it.
For a long time one of the most sought after, and expensive, uniforms to acquire is the Danish m/84 pattern. Like other Scandinavian countries the quanties were both small and strictly controlled by the Army. Sometime around winter 2002 the Danish government decided to end the ban on resale of these uniforms. While still relatively expensive the change in government policy has brought the price down and availability up. |

Notes
|
Denmark's first desert camouflage unifrom, m/01, was first seen in use with ISAF in Afghanistan. Currently very hard to get a hold of as it is still produced in small numbers and issued only to troops actually deploying to desert areas. |
