Contract piece made in Germany. Uniform construction is identical to German Moleskin design.

This appears to be a contract piece for Iraq made in India. The trousers are in the typical Iraq/ME configuration with button down belt loops and overall simple design. The shirt is a knockoff of French F1 style with two verticle zippered chest pockets.

Notes

Often thought of as experimental West German snow camouflage because it is constructed exactly like the Moleskin uniform. However, there is an Iraqi control stamp and the uniform is certainly not an oversuit. The three colored needles are the Baath Party's colors, so it is probable that this is some sort of political or paramilitary uniform. Considering how many of these have turned up in Europe, one has to wonder if they ever were delivered to Iraq of if these examples came from test samples. The set I have was certainly worn by someone, though thankfully lightly.
