Notes
|
Like many Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia adopted DPM based uniforms back in the 1980s until recently (replaced by US patterns). The pattern appears to be the same as British temperate DPM and is in 4 colors, unlike the British desert which is in only 2. These uniforms were apparently made in the UK and exported to several countries (including Iraq) in various different forms. This influenced the British decision to make their desert uniform only 2 colors, thereby distinguishing it from the plethora of 4 color uniforms in the region.
