We've just opened a new section in the Theatre of War 2 game area, covering the most frequently asked questions about the upcoming sequel, especially about some of the new game features such as combat inside buildings, or the use of smoke screens, and the completely new "spotting by hearing" system.

A brand new set of screenshots from Theatre of War 2 is available today, highlighting some of the graphics engine improvements in this sequel, such as "soft" shadows and the use of "screen space ambient occlusion". Oh, and there are plenty of bombs, too :)

Battlefront.com and 1C Company have just launched a Developer Diary blog for their upcoming Theatre of War 2: North Africa 1943 tactical combat game!

Written by the team of developers and designers behind Theatre of War, led by David Phillipov, 1C's Head of the Internal Development department and the masterbrain behind the game series, the Diary will shed some light on the internal design decisions and processes behind the upcoming sequel to the first Theatre of War game.

Theatre of War 2: North Africa 1943 is scheduled for release this winter, 2008, exclusively from www.battlefront.com!
